Evening Prayer and Social Evening with Archbishop Dermot Farrell

An evening of celebration is planned for 9th November to express our thanks to Archbishop Farrell upon his departure from Ossory.  Evening Prayer will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church and there will be an opportunity to meet at St. Kieran’s College afterwards. Further details will be announced when they come to hand.

Service of Enrollment for Confirmation 2022

The candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation in our parish will be formally enrolled.  The candidates and their parents will make a commitment to prepare well for the celebration of the sacrament.

Feast of St. Blaise

Thursday is the Feast of St. Blaise. A physician before he became a bishop, he is venerated as patron of those who suffer from disease of the throat. The priests will bless throats after 8.00am and 10.30am Masses on Thursday

First Friday of February

Masses at 8.00am and 10.30am at St. John's Church. The priests will visit the sick and housebound.  Please call 056 772 1072 if you or someone known to you would like to be added to the list.

World Day of Prayer for the Sick

We will celebrate the Sacrament of the Sick during 10.30 Mass on Friday morning. Those in our community who are unwell may come and join in our communal prayer for the sick and be anointed with the Oil of the Sick.
