St. John’s takes good care of its older parishioners.
The Elderly Committee runs a Day Care Centre and Homes for The Elderly located on the church grounds. Tel: 056 772 1072.
It also provides Summer Outings, Christmas and New Years’ parties, etc., for our seniors.

The Day Care Centre is open 9.00am to 3.30pm Mondays and Tuesdays where people come for lunch or a cup of tea and a chat.
They can get their hair done or have help taking a shower. The service of a chiropodist is also available on the third Tuesday and Thursday of each month.

The Side by Side Club meets every Thursday, 2.30 to 5.00 p.m. Beginning with exercise to music, they then have a game of pongo, followed by a cup of tea.
They also have the occasional Retreat and a day’s outing. Tel: 056 776 3324.

We have a small number of houses for seniors on the church grounds. These houses provide accommodation for secure independent living. Tel: 056 772 1072.
