Please note: Kilkenny Local Authorities have issued a road closure notice for the Dublin Road from its junction with John Street to the junction with O’Loughlin Road. This will be effective from 11.30am on St. Patrick’s Day. We have been assured that for the traditional St. Patrick’s Day Mass at 11.30am vehicles will be allowed approach and leave St. John’s Church from the O’Loughlin Road direction. Please note this restriction (you may not approach the church in a vehicle from John’s Street) and allow yourself a little more time to journey to our annual St. Patrick’s Day Mass.
